Summary
EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES WITH IMMEDIATE STARTS FOR EXPERIENCED Support Workers - Our client in the Worksop Area is seeking experienced residential Support Workers to work within their lovely residential care home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care. The home houses up to 15 residents with a dedicated team of Carers that have a vast experience in dealing with people with Learning Difficulties.
You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing a complex care package tailored to individual needs. We require all our Support Workers to have up to date mandatory training to include Moving and Handling with Hoist Training. We require our Support Workers are required to have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care with all your relevant mandatory training being relevant and up to date. This role is both physically and mentally demanding so you must have relevant care experience.
As an experienced Support Worker you must have experience of dealing with residents with Learning Difficulties such as Asperger’s, ADHD and Autism. You will be assisting them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life.
To apply for this role you must;
• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one
