What We are looking for in a Leisure Manager:




We are seeking a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a passion for delivering exceptional
leisure experiences. Your commitment to customer service excellence, coupled with your ability to drive results and manage
resources effectively, will set you apart. While prior experience in health and safety training, basic accounting, and HR
practices is desirable, we value a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to leadership.

How You Would Succeed in This Role:




As the Leisure Manager for Exmouth Leisure Centre (ELC) & Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre (ETFC), your success hinges on your
ability to lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. You'll excel in this role by effectively communicating
and implementing the centre’s annual targets and objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall vision set by the Area Manager
and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Your leadership will inspire the Leadership Team to deliver exceptional customer service and
empower their teams through coaching and development. By overseeing day-to-day operations, managing budgets, and ensuring
compliance with safety regulations, you'll maintain high standards of performance while driving growth and innovation.




What You Will Need for This Role:




To thrive in this position, you'll need a minimum of 2 years' duty management experience in the leisure industry, coupled with a
solid understanding of leisure management environments and marketing strategies. Your ability to lead and develop high-performing
teams will be essential, supported by qualifications such as a Degree, HND, or NVQ 5 in Leisure Management. Familiarity with
health and safety regulations, budget management, and leisure-based management systems is crucial. Flexibility for weekend and
evening work, along with your own transport, is necessary to accommodate the operational demands of the role.
