Summary
TeacherActive is currently seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialised through school in DN3. This school caters to pupils aged 5-19 years with communication and interaction difficulties, autism spectrum disorder and other social, emotional and mental health needs.
The school is committed to delivering personalised and inspirational learning journeys through the use of restorative approaches which aim to address the children's individual needs.
Requirements:
• Experience working with individuals with severe learning difficulties is desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students.
• Passion for supporting and inspiring young learners to reach their full potential.
• Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development as required.
