Summary
The Best Connection is looking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk for one of our prestigious located on Brigg Road near the Queensway Industrial Estate.
This is a temporary position that may lead to a full-time role for the right candidate.
This will be a Monday to Friday position doing 08:45AM - 17:00PM
Job duties will include but are not limited to: Processing purchase ledger invoices entering onto sage 200, ensuring accuracy of coding to both operating cost centre and nominal code. Ensuring accurate description of cost entered on sage. Reconciling sage ledger to supplier statements. Ensuring all invoices are correctly authorised and liaising with departmental managers on queries
Allocation of cash payments. Creating BACS schedules for payment runs to suppliers. Ability to provide cover during colleagues annual leave, may cover a variety of functions such as raising of sales invoices, and reconciliation of cashbook.
Having experience in the use of sage 200 would be an advantage, but as a minimum applicants should be experienced in the use of sage 50.
