Summary
Title: TIG Welder/Fabricator / MIG Welder Our client based in North Leicester are looking for Welder fabricators to join their team in ongoing roles with a view to becoming permanent following a successful trial period. You will be working on a weekly rotation of 06.00-14.00 one week and 14.00 - 22.00 the next paying up to £15.00 per hour.
Duties will include; TIG & MIG Welding precision sheet metal components Fabricating sheet metal using hand tools. Working on thin gauge metals Working to engineering drawings Finishing, fettling, and grinding own work Skills needed for this role: Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and ARC Skilled in Sheet metal fabrication Ability to use variety of tools and equipment. Basic maths skills and mechanical aptitude Ability to read drawings and recognise welding symbols specifications. Knowledge of industry safety practices Pay rates and hours
Shifts are 06.00 -14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 Monday - Friday on a weekly rotation
£11.85 - £15.00 per hour based on proven previous skills and experience decided upon completion of a skills test.
