Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting a Class 2 driver for their client based in West Thurrock. Our client is currently expanding and looking to add to its existing fleet, you will be driving new flat-bed and curtain side vehicles with up to date systems and technology.
The driver will be required to deliver construction supplies to various locations around the SE corner and London, these could be building sites or residential locations. You will need a good level of fitness due to the nature of the work, but the majority of the supplies will be unloaded for you at site. This is a customer facing role and you will be representing the company, so a customer facing attitude would be required. Experience of strapping with ratchet straps would be essential. If you have a Moffett licence, this is very beneficial but not essential as you will taught this after a trial period
Start time for this roll is at 07:00 and is a Monday to Friday role so it keeps your weekends free
Pay rate for this job is £15.80 per hour paid weekly.
There is a chance for a full time role following a successful trial period.
Responsibilities and eligibility for the role:
Previous commercial driving experience, especially in London Previous Class 2 driving experience Cat C Licence CPC Digital Tachograph Card Strapping experience Max 6 points on licence but preferably clean Moffett licence beneficial but not essential Category C Class 2 Driver - Crayford - PAYE £15.80 p/h
