We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our highly successful infrastructure team based in Birmingham. The team are
currently engaged providing services to many of the UKs major infrastructure projects and we are a main supplier to HS2, National
Highways and Network Rail. We provide our clients with advice on all property related matters, valuations, surveys, associated
reports, the negotiation of detailed Heads of Terms and preparation and presentation of Business Cases for approval to acquire
properties on behalf of project sponsors.

In this role you will be working as a project manager within the Client team to manage all land and property requirements for the
clients civil engineering projects from concept to execution. This will include, but not be limited too:




Main tasks:



* Working with the project and programme managers to identify and agree land requirements for each project.
* Work with the Carter Jonas and Client teams to create a land strategy to deliver the appropriate land requirements in the most
economic.
* Working with Project Managers supporting other Client project teams to create a coherent, geographically centred approach to
acquiring land for construction compounds and welfare facilities.
* Ensure requests for land are submitted and actioned in a timely and efficient manner.
* Proactively resolve land access issues through negotiation and creating alternate plans.
* Manage the relationship with the Landowners to ensure an empathetic, professional and trusting relationship is built and
maintained.

What will it take to be successful?

We are looking for experienced Project Managers with a proven track record in managing construction projects in the Infrastructure
sector and an awareness of HSE requirements when it comes to creation and operation of construction compounds and welfare
facilities. Ideally you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
alongside experience in communicating and negotiating with 3rd party landowners. A full UK drivers licence is required and an
appropriate CSCS card is desirable.
