Summary
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES CLINICAL DUTIES To provide skilled, effective and evidence based to patients with a variety of presentations. To identify, prioritise and implement programmes of care that meets the needs of the clients/patients using an appropriate nursing model. To identify and record all new problems and concerns and report back to the team lead. To undertake activities that promote health, reduce risk and disease prevention. To provide care and attention to the needs of vulnerable adults including risk assessments and taking appropriate action as required. Take a pro-active approach towards discharge planning according to local policy. To develop and utilise a range of nursing skills such as continence assessment, ECG recordings and venepuncture, IV drug administration, wound assessment and management.
