Summary

The Post As a Social Worker in Adult Social Care, youll respond to individuals in our community to provide social care support and utilise appropriate interventions. Youll use a strength-based approach to promote the independence, interests, and rights of our residents and their families. Access to our Zipcar scheme This role attracts the following payments (subject to review); Golden hello payment of £5,000* Annual retention payment of £3,000 ** Additional payments are available for Practice Educators, Best Interest Assessors and AMPs *Subject to satisfactory completion of a 6-month probation period. ** Payable after the completion of 12 months in the post. The Person You will be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England. You will also have experience of working within social care or a community-focused multi-disciplinary setting. A good understanding of relevant Adult Social Care legislation is essential for success in these roles. You will have the opportunity to put this legislation into action, further enhancing your skills to support and empower our service users to live meaningful lives within the community. You will be able to work independently to deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances, as well as demonstrate skills in: Communication Prioritisation Caseload management Time management Multi-disciplinary working We will provide training for an exceptional candidate who cannot demonstrate all of the above criteria.
