Summary
We require a Parent and Toddler Playgroup Manager (Maternity Cover)Salary: Scale 5/6; approx. £8,500 - £9,700 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Windham Nursery School. We are looking to employ a Playgroup Manager for our busy and vibrant playgroup. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational and hard-working individual that is able to lead a well-established playgroup. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and caring with excellent communication and organisation skills. The new manager will support the development of this well-established service and have early years’ experience. With the desire to develop and promote high quality learning experiences for all children within an educational establishment. You should have a passion for working in early years and experience, knowledge and understanding of the current approach of learning through play.
This is a term time post working 12 hrs per week, 8.00am – 11am Tuesday - Friday (Possibility for Monday)About our Nursery:
Our outstanding (Ofsted 2019) stand-alone maintained nursery school is within walking distance of the world-famous Kew Gardens. Our school has a 78-place mainstream nursery and a 15-place specialist provision for children with social and communication conditions, both for three- and four-year-olds. We also offer places to 32 two-year-old children in our separate provision.
We are looking for a Parent and Toddler Playgroup Manager that has:
• An NVQ Level 2/3 (desirable) – happy to support any future training
• Must be able to communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
• Must have good organisational and IT Skills.
• Must be able to plan and evaluate activities in the Parent and Toddler Groups.
• Must have the ability to meet confidentiality requirements
