Summary


Ward B0 - The Grange University Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy mixed Trauma/Surgical ward for full time/ part time Registered Nurses who wish to expand their experience in Trauma/Surgical nursing, improve their clinical decision making and develop their management skills. The focus of this ward is to provide a quality service, excellent clinical management and a safe effective discharge process.

If you have good communication skills, high standards of care and are passionate about nursing, this ward would like to hear from you.

Applicants must have full NMC Registration
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational/leadership skills, as well as being reliable and hard working.
• Commitment to personal development and a keen interest in the progression of the profession within surgical services is essential.
• Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
• Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual
• Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients
• Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC policies
• Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards
• Undertake regular mandatory training

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
