Calling all Project Controllers, Schedulers, Project Controls Consultants, are you open to a move?

Whitetree is looking for a Project Controls Consultant to join our agile and growing Management Services team. After hitting the ground running, you will provide vital project controls services exercising your estimating, cost control, planning, scheduling and risk expertise across a variety of client projects within the defence and other sectors.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for a talented Project Controller with consultancy experience or a desire to move into a varied role with the consulting profession to join us. You'll have a background in defence and expert knowledge of scheduling. We want to hear from analytical thinkers and strong communicators that are client focussed and trusted to deliver.


What we expect from you
A working knowledge of project management principles and how they are underpinned by project control activities
Expert knowledge of scheduling, EVM, SRA and Risk Analysis
Experience working as a consultant / client facing with UK MOD or Tier 1 and 2 suppliers
Stakeholder management experience
Tools experience: Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Primavera P6
Desirable qualifications: Prince2, APMP
Ability to work confidently in an autonomous post as well as being a respected team player
An articulate and effective communicator, able to listen and clearly present information
An organised nature, able to juggle tasks, work to deadlines and manage changing priorities
A positive and motivated approach, able to quickly build lasting professional relationships

The Role
Project Controls plays a vital role in ensuring project success, as a Project Controls Consultant, you will:

Provide project controls management, assisting clients to ensure projects are completed to the timescales and within budget
Provide Estimating, Cost Control, Planning and Scheduling and Risk Management expertise
Interface with the project management team and all key stakeholders
Advise on the application of effective planning techniques and controls
Ensure the application of project controls processes are consistently applied
Prepare financial and project status information
Have the right to live and work in the UK
Hold a current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check*
Be happy to travel
