Summary
Maps Logistics Ltd are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager, the role will see you leading and developing people, systems and processes, a range of continuous improvement initiatives and championing a winning culture that values people.
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager, a proactive leader with a passion for people and process.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the warehouse operation, managing people and processes to meet business needs.
• Champion health and safety, ensuring safe systems of work
• Follow Quality System requirements for materials and conduct inspections.
• Maintain accurate stock records and traceability in the MRP system.
• Manage material flow according to the production plan for efficiency.
• Keep the workplace organised and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Verify stock accuracy through regular counting.
• Check and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Implement waste management procedures and collaborate on scrapping obsolete materials.
• Operate within budget and promote cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Monitor warehouse operations through Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure compliance with company rules and safety instructions for external drivers and visitors.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure proper people processes.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in a Warehouse Management role for a similar fast paced business.
• Previous experience of managing a large team.
• Customer focused.
• Commercially focused.
• Strong communicator.
