Summary

Job Summary
Maps Logistics Ltd are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager. As the Business Development Manager, you will need to be dedicated and hardworking and have an interest in helping to grow the company whilst travelling around the UK to their designated locations. You will work with the executive team to develop new business, generate leads, and market current products to current areas of operation.

Responsibilities:
* Identifying new business opportunities, exploring new markets, and developing new clients and partnerships.
* Travelling to clients and company sights across the UK
* Creating strategies to reach new business goals successfully.
* Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
* Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
* Possess a strong understanding of the company's offerings and services, being aware of competitors and their place within the local geography.
* Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that the requirements are met
* Analyse the current processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organisation performance
* Meet or exceed targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption
* Identify prioritisation and trade-offs for meeting adoption and revenue targets

Requirements:
* Recent and demonstrable experience in successful project-based sales
* Highly self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
* A strategic and creative mind
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
* Exemplary organisational skills, excellent punctuality, and timekeeping
* Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and our CRM system.
* The ability to motivate themselves and others
* A solid understanding of business and marketing principles
