Summary
Sheltered Scheme Manager required in Ormskirk, 18.5 hours per week, ongoing temporary until October 2024.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with lettings, viewings, sign-ups and inductions for new residents
- Encourage independent living and create a positive environment for resident involvement
- Carry out daily wellbeing calls to tenants and respond to emergency calls via the emergency system
- Property inspections, health & safety checks, fire safety checks and reporting repairs
- Completing referrals for aids, adaptations and assistive technology
- Provide advice on low level rent arrears and assist with tenancy sustainment, ensuring residents are aware of their rights and responsibilities within the tenancy agreement
- Support residents with welfare benefit applications and providing advice in relation to benefit claims
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of working in the housing sector with older and vulnerable people
- Experience of completing assessments & developing support plans, providing budgeting advice and knowledge of welfare benefit system
- Knowledge & experience of safeguarding practices and procedures, crisis management, risk minimisation and managing personal resilience

- Hourly rates between £15.21 - £16.73 per hour
- Option to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella
- 18.5 hour per week contract with flexibility over working days/hours
- Ongoing temp contract until at least October 2024
