Summary


We are seeking a proactive and organised project officer, whose primary role will be to manage and support space & accommodation projects and related project administration for the space and accommodation team. The role will be supporting the overall development, management and delivery of the Trust space and accommodation programme of work. The role will support the Operational Head of Facilities, Space & Accommodation Project Manager and team in meeting the Trust priorities set.

To provide a dedicated, professional project and administration support in relation to the day-to-day activities of space & accommodation ensuring a timely, good quality, consistent and accurate service with a strong focus on confidentiality and discretion at all times.
The role holder will be based in Sutton but will be expected to work flexibly, across sites (Sutton/Chelsea/Wallington/Cavendish Square) and will be required to travel on occasion as per project requirements.
Project management & support skills are essential, especially in relation to project initiation, project management, related project documentation, data accuracy and reporting as well as excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
The role holder will have demonstrable evidence of delivering projects to time & high quality as well as managing a busy workload. Organisational skills will be required to maximise delivery in the various projects & it will be essential to be able to manage competing demands and prioritise effectively.
Role holder will be expected to work with minimum supervision and be competent in MS Office, MS Project and Visio, creating, updating and monitoring plans, meeting minutes and reports as needed.
This is a key role in supporting and delivering a number of change projects within the Trust over the next 5 years to enhance our Estate, improve space utilisation and meet the needs of different roles & service demands.

• Responsible for the development and creation, update and review of project plans, decant arrangements and associated documentation.
• Responsible for managing the communication/implementation of key projects and initiatives with key stakeholders as well as planning key moves and refurbishments across the Trust.
• Responsible for the attending & management of meetings and subsequent updates of minutes, risks & impacts, actions and outcomes.
• To have a positive, realistic, resilient and supportive attitude to ensure that the needs of the Trust, staff & patients are considered and managed.
• Ability to manage a range of very challenging emotions/people/cultural issues in relation to space and accommodation tasks.
