Teacheractive presents the inspiring chance to work as a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) teaching assistant in Wakefield.
We are looking for strong, inspiring, passionate and confident SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) teaching assistants equipped with excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners who may need extra support. This will range from cover for day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in education. This will be the ideal opportunity to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant:
• Experience in assisting young learners in education on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an education establishment
• Team Teach
• Excellent communication skills
• Be calm and caring
• Experienced with challenging behaviour and resilient
