Summary
Whittlebury Park are looking to recruit a motivated and reliable Decorator to join our small dedicated maintenance team.
Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. We have award winning facilities including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant and a luxurious spa.
Salary:
£24,307.92
What will you do?
Painting and decorating experience is essential to this role, including experience in tiling and general maintenance.
Experience of working in a similar environment and a working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations would also be beneficial.
As a General Maintenance Assistant, you will:
carry out works required to repair, maintain, and improve the buildings and facilities within the designated area of Whittlebury Park.
take receipt of deliveries and store items or goods safely pertaining to maintenance.
complete short term maintenance work, responding promptly to emergency repairs affecting guest bedrooms with a common-sense approach to causing minimal disruption to our guests.
deal with emergency and breakdown calls responding quickly and efficiently ensuring all security procedures laid down by the Hotel are strictly adhered to.
As the successful applicant, you must be able to work unsupervised.
Please note due to the nature of this position you may be required to work irregular hours including late evenings, and weekends.
