Summary


An exciting position has arisen for a band 5 staff nurse to join our dynamic Paediatric Emergency Care services at the Royal London Hospital.

The Paediatric Emergency Department at the Royal London Hospital is one of the busiest in London treating in excess of 35000 children per year from a multi cultural community. It is situated in the historic East End of London and after your working day you can enjoy the atmosphere of Brick Lane or Shoreditch and Hoxton.

We have moved to a brand new purpose built hospital offering an improved environment for our patients and staff and giving the opportunity to develop new ways of working. We are one of four designated Major Trauma Centres for London. Our recent merger with Newham and Whipps Cross promises more opportunity to develop working practices and share best practice. We have close links with City University London and are committed to the professional growth and development of our staff.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic paediatric nurses to join our team who have some post registration experience in any setting. You will be an excellent communicator with both adults and children and have demonstrable competence in caring for unwell children and their families. You will also be required to work both nights and weekends.
