Nursery/Early Years Teaching Assistant - Smethwick
Are you a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity? Winner Education are excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of our Nurseries in Smethwick who are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within their nursery. This is a full-time position, term time only.
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will have experience working with young children and personal care will be required as some of the children are in nappies and/or toilet training.
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will:
• Hold a childcare qualification, preferably Level 2 or above
• Have experience working with children from 2 years old
• Be comfortable to do personal care, such as nappy changing, toileting, etc.
• Complete individual children’s learning journals following the nursery policy
• Have excellent, up to date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Have good behaviour management skills
• Lead and supervise engaging activities
• Preferably have experience working 1:1 or with small groups of children
