Are you a passionate individual looking to assist young children with their specific learning needs?
We are currently searching for an Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary school based in Wandsworth, SW18. The school requires an outgoing, positive individual able to assist Year 3-6 students with their learning and development.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students who require additional support based on their specific learning needs.
- Leading interventions focused on development areas to support students studying towards SATs.
- Provide 1:1 and small group assistance to children performing below age-expected levels.
- Work alongside teachers to design and plan learning methods that are most applicable for students experiencing difficulty.
- Keep track of student progress and targets.
- Supervise students to ensure safety and effective learning.
Criteria:
- Level 3 TA Qualification or equivalent beneficial but not essential.
- Previous experience working with children is desired.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Being able to remain patient and offer clear guidance and instructions.
- Show passion towards children and their learning success.
- Valid DBS and two references.
