Summary

We're looking for individuals to join us in the classroom, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Role:
- Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (temp to perm opportunity)
- Location: Leatherhead, Surrey KT22
- Hours: 8:45am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
- Salary: £75.00 - £82.00 per day


Responsibilities:
- Nurturing and empowering our students with SEN, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Assisting SEN pupils in various subjects and activities, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Supporting the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within mainstream classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
- Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.

Requirements:
- Resilient and caring, committed to making a long-term impact in the lives of our students.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues.
- A patient, empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students.
- A genuine passion for education and a dedication to promoting the well-being and academic success of every child.
