- Position: Classroom Support Assistant

- School: a specialist provision for autistic children and young people, aged 3 -19 years with a range of abilities and differences associated with the autism spectrum.
Requirements:
- Worked as a teaching assistant in a school before, or have relevant SEN experience in either healthcare or another sector
- Enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful
- Enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.
- Able to engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
- Worked with children or adults with special needs before
- Able to challenge children when they display negative behaviour
- A qualified teaching assistant or have a transferable skill
