Summary
Are you a Teacher with a General Teaching Council for Scotland Certificate who is committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people?
Responsibilities:
- We need a Teacher with GTCS accreditation to join our fantastic team at Closeburn House School in Dumfries.
- You will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop.
- Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Requirements:
Educated to degree level and/or of Qualified Teacher Status
Calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
Passionate about working with our cohort of young people and willing to be flexible and creative in the approach to the curriculum and take responsibility for different subjects.
