Behaviour Support TA - Bury (Whitefield) (M45)

Join our team as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant in Bury's Whitefield area (M45). Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated individual to support students in a local primary school setting. If you have experience working with young learners in schools or youth programs, we want to hear from you.

Key Details:

Full-time position assisting with behaviour support in a primary school.

Starting in May 2024 until the end of the academic year, with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities include supporting student learning and engagement in class.

Serve as a positive role model to keep students motivated and focused.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in positively influencing the education and development of students who face challenges in traditional classroom settings. Located in M45, our school is easily accessible via public transport and major roadways, making it convenient for commuters. We cater to students aged 4-11 and maintain high standards of teaching and student progress monitoring.

Student Needs:

Students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Challenging behaviour.

Your daily responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support to students, assisting teachers during lessons, and facilitating small group activities for students who require additional attention.

Applicant Requirements:

Previous experience supporting primary-aged students with needs (Ideal).

Confidence working with students aged 4-11.

Ability to establish positive relationships with students.

Availability for full-time work.
