Summary
We are seeking Home Help Assistants to support older people and people with disabilities in Gateshead. For this role, assistants will support people living in and around Central Gateshead, Leam, Felling, Windy Nook and Birtley.
Assistants tend to start with 2-3 hours per week, and then build up hours to suit their needs.
Main duties include:-
-Ensuring homes are clean and tidy, by following the individual home help plan for each client
-Providing shopping, prescription collection and paying bills for clients
-Filling in client records, taking payment and bringing paperwork and payment to the head office on a weekly basis.
