Summary

Position Available: Early Years Practitioner

Location: Bradford and surrounding areas

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role: We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our team in primary schools and nurseries located in and around the vibrant city of Bradford. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and education to children in their early years, fostering their development and preparing them for future learning success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities that promote the holistic development of children in the early years, focusing on their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being.
Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported in exploring and learning through play.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaborating effectively to meet the individual needs of each child.
Observe and assess children's progress and development, using this information to inform planning and tailor activities to suit their interests and abilities.
Support children's language and communication skills through storytelling, rhymes, and other language-rich experiences, including those with English as an additional language (EAL).
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education, CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting, such as a nursery or early years classroom, preferably within the Bradford area.
Strong understanding of child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
