Summary

We are recruiting a sports coach to join our fantastic team.

KA Kits Academy CIC Ltd is an Independent Community Interest Company specialising in delivery of Physical Education services and enrichment opportunities to communities within towns and cities across the Midlands, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The main objectives of KA Kits Academy CIC Ltd is to provide Physical Education and enrichment services to children of all backgrounds. Health and well-being aims are at the heart of all provisions and projects to present services to areas most in need.

A Sports Coach at KA Kits Academy CIC Ltd will work across all of our programmes, such as school holiday clubs, after school and physical education sessions and will be responsible for:

Planning, preparing and delivery of high quality PE and sport provision to children / young people in all educational environments.
Planning, preparing and delivery of a variety of different sports, developing into a PE specialist. Whilst developing into a PE Specialist at KA Kits Academy CIC Ltd, specific courses are undertaken to aid development.
Provide reports and assessments on pupil development
Act as a positive role model at all times whilst inspiring and motivating all children to take part in physical exercise.

Essential Criteria:

Experience in delivering high quality PE or sports provisions
Knowledge and skills to deliver programmes to different groups, young people and different ability levels
Relevant sports coaching experience and qualifications. Minimum, UKCC Level 1 coaching award or a Level 1 Qualification.
A good basic level of education
The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
Hold or undertake a valid first aid certificate or willing to achieve if appointed.
Hold or undertake valid safeguarding certificate or willing to achieve if appointed
Demonstrate good time keeping and have evidence of a good attendance record.
Enhanced DBS

Desirable Criteria:

Experience or desire to lead planning, delivery and evaluation of sport sessions within different settings.
Hold a Level 2 or above National Governing Body coaching qualification
Driving License. The candidate should be able to drive or willing to travel whilst learning to drive.
Hours:

Working hours are within school/nursery/other educational settings working times. Usually between 8am-6pm.
School Holiday hours differ
