Summary

Student Learning & Academic Registry is recruiting an Assistant Administrator, based within Quality Assurance & Validation (QAV).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to support the co-ordination and administration of a range of quality assurance areas including the approval and review of partnerships and courses.

As an Assistant Administrator, working in the QAV team, you will work with colleagues from across the University to support the range of quality assurance activities associated with course approval & review and have supervisory responsibilities for Departmental Administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Provide complete administrative support of course approval processes.
Collate documentation/reports for circulation to panel members, ensuring that everything has been correctly submitted.
Take accurate and concise notes/minutes at meetings.
Administer ID checks and the processing of payments for external panel members.
Maintain accurate version control of documents.

The successful candidate will:

Have office administrative experience
Possess Word processing, spreadsheet and email skills (Microsoft Office or equivalent)
Have experience of using Management Information Systems and/or other databases
Be a team player with the ability to work proactively and multi-task
Have effective organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
Demonstrate commitment to delivering the service to a high standard
