Summary

At Cairn Group we're ambitious. With a varied and extensive UK portfolio of hotels, bars and restaurants in our portfolio, we're focused on continual growth and are in it for the long haul. We are a family owned business with family values at our core, with a growing team and sites UK wide.

About the role…

When a kitchen is busy, equipment such as pots and pans will need to be cleaned quickly and be ready for chefs and cooks to use. Kitchen porters work as part of a team, but also need to have the initiative to sort out anything as and when it comes up. A kitchen is a high-paced environment, so the ability to remain calm under pressure is vital.

About you…

You should have a good level of physical fitness, not just because you are on your feet all day, but also for unloading deliveries. You will also have the ability to carry out tasks quickly, have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team whilst being able to work on your own using your initiative. You should be aware of health and safety regulations and be able to work calm under pressure.
