Summary

Climate17 is happy to be working with an energy and environmental consultancy, who works from the planning application stage through to handover and post-occupancy, they help clients meet ever-challenging environmental standards. They have a team of technical specialists who offer advanced levels of expertise and experience of the construction and development industry and they tailor teams to suit each individual project.


Our client is now on the lookout for an Environmental Consultant with at least one year’s experience to join their Environment and Planning team. They provide industry-leading environmental assessment and consultancy services to a wide range of developers across all stages of the development process. In this role, you will be exposed to multiple services including BREEAM, CEEQUAL, Whole Life-cycle Carbon Assessments, sustainability statements
health impact assessments, and circular economy consultancy in a supportive, learning environment.
The right candidate will take a lead in delivering many of these services and working with other specialist groups across the company.


Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience in specialist consulting in the residential and commercial construction sector.
  • Relevant degree and background in architecture, physics or engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant undergraduate or master’s degree.
  • Experience with co-ordinating and managing a portfolio of BREEAM New Construction and Refurbishment projects, BREEAM Assessor.
  • Excellent technical communication and influencing skills.
  • Keen interest
    in housing, planning, development, and construction issues.
