Summary


Creative Support is a busy and dynamic national charity with a track record in providing high quality, person centred support services in over 70 Local Authorities.

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic graduate to join our Service Development team at our Head Office in Stockport. You will be involved in a range of initiatives that not only develop and aid mobilisation of new services but also add value to our services and local communities. You will be based at our friendly Stockport Head Office (with regular travel as required) and will learn and develop your knowledge in the sector by obtaining valuable opportunities through a variety of roles. This is a multifaceted, varied position within the organisation which will support delivery of services and mobilisations, development, social value commitments and digital inclusion. You will do this by working with a wide variety of internal and external partners with whom you will be proactive in developing links with local communities, our services and teams.

The role will be based at our Stockport office, but will have a national scope so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential. Possession of a clean, valid driving licence is desirable. You will work to raise Creative Support’s profile and positive reputation through, setting up new services and seeking new and innovative ways of working collaboratively with our key stakeholders and partners. You will add value to our service delivery and the experience of our customers by building social capital and community links.

You will be well-organised, hard-working, and flexible as this is a fast paced and challenging role, working to multiple deadlines. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong IT and research skills. You will be passionate about volunteering and the benefits it can bring to our service users, the organisation as a whole, and the volunteers.
