Summary
Vehicle Technician/Fitter
Location - Malvern, Fulltime - Permanent -Up to £30,000 DOE
My client, a leading global manufacturer of performance fire and rescue vehicles is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Fitter to join their team, making a real difference across the world.
The Role:
Working on various Rescue vehicles to customer specification within timescale
Installing PTO's, gearboxes, drive lines, pumps, hydraulic lines, and fittings.
Working on vehicle chassis and associated equipment
Working with cutters (Gas/mechanical)
Working from engineering drawings and fabricate assemblies accordingly.
Working at height or under vehicles.
Occasional working off site.
The Person:
Experience with air and electrically operated hand tools.
Experience working on fire vehicles - advantageous
Ability to work to a very high standard within a small team.
Excellent communication skills
The Benefits:
4.5 days week (7-4 mon-thurs / Fri 1pm finish)
25 days holiday plus Banks
