What will you be doing?

  • Ensure the smooth running and operation of the HWRC at all times
  • Supervise all of the recycling operatives at the site
  • Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors on the site at all times
  • Undertake all tasks in accordance with Veolia's Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures and business management system
  • Operate the site in accordance with the waste permit, planning conditions, discharge consents, and risk assessments at all times
  • Liaise with the Transport office to ensure the site is serviced sufficiently and in accordance with overall requirements using a PDA
  • The above is a summary of the main tasks and responsibilities of the post, but further tasks and responsibilities may be required within the demands of the business



What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience gained in a similar role / environment
  • Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) is desirable
