Position Overview: We're seeking a motivated and flexible Chef Supervisor to join our catering team at HMP BullingdonPrison. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in preparing and providing 3 meals a day to over 900 prisoners. Your role will involve supervising a prisoner workforce in a customer-facing environment.
Key Requirements:
Flexibility and motivation are essential.
Must be 18 or over.
Security clearance is required, including a 5-year UK address history.
Ability to work inside a prison kitchen, supporting prisoners in food production and cooking.
Positive, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
Knowledge of health and food safety legislation, conflict resolution skills.
Equivalent of NVQ Level 2 qualification.
Hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or Equivalent.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of chefs to create quality meals from a pre-ordered menu.
Preparation of breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
Supervise and support prisoner workforce in food production.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
