About the Role


Commis Chef at Brigg & Stow, Bristol Airport

Pay Rate: £12.80 + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £14 per hour.
Shift pattern: scheduled between 2 am and midnight
Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations.
Due to some responsibilities within the Commis Chef role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol.

AS A COMMIS CHEF, YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INVOLVE:

- Helping with deliveries.
- Preparing meats and vegetables.
- Assisting fellow chefs.
- Assisting in stock rotation.
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
- Effective time management for preparation and food service.
- Precise measurement of dish ingredients and portion sizes.
- Executing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
- Confidently cooking completed dishes from the menu.
