Summary

Osterley Park Day Nursery are a small but well-established 20-based Nursery open from 08:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. The nursery caters for children from 12 months to 5 years. We see all children as individuals appreciate their needs and respect their differences, staff are friendly, warm and attentive to all children.

Essential Requirements – GCSE Maths and English C or 4, or an equivalent (Functional Skills level 2)

If successful in the apprenticeship process, you may be eligible for 30% off on your Oyster Card.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
Being a team player.
Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
Taking part in First Aid training as required
Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
Working with teams across the nursery setting
Supporting children’s learning and development.
Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
Supporting children’s self-help needs.
Being creative and enthusiastic.
Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
