Summary
Nursery Team Leader Horticultural
Full Time 40 Hours Per Week Including Weekends.

We are looking for a Nursery Team leader, your role will be responsible for supervising the Plant despatch department, and Team, organising picking and sending of orders. Must have some Plant knowledge.
Woodthorpe Nursey in addition to Plant growing, Woodthorpe also runs a busy fast paced plant despatch department, the role includes the days to day supervision of this department along with supervising the growing side also.
You will need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting and moving involved.

Skills required:
• Knowledge of horticulture.
• The role does involve lifting.
• Supervisory experience in some capacity would be beneficial.
• Work well under pressure.

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed.
Duties will include:
• Oversee the day-to-day nursery operations including:
• Organisation of workload.
• Potting and general plant care.
• Stock control.
• Crop protection.
• Monitoring pest control.
• Maintenance of nursery facilities and equipment.
• Inspect and clean plants ready for despatch.
• Assist in the general maintenance of the plant nursery.
