I am seeking an experienced Home Manager to join an award winning care centre providing nursing and residential care to the elderly and those with dementia. The home is medium-sized and has a great reputation within the local area and is rated 'GOOD' with CQC.

Duties for the Nursing Home Manager
- Overall responsibility of the home
- Staff management/appraisals/Training
- Care plans/reviews/meetings
- Budget
Requirements for the Nursing Home Manager:
- RGN/RMN with active pin
- Management experience in a similar nursing home setting
- Proven track record of successful home management
- Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
I am recruiting a manager with previous experience at a senior level within the health and social care sector, which includes direct line management of care staff, a good understanding of person centred care and an ability to support and manage staff teams. Good communication and administration skills along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload are essential. Above all you will need to demonstrate empathy towards older people and an understanding of their needs.
Along with excellent management skills the successful candidate will be caring, friendly with an outgoing personality which can be incorporated into the current atmosphere of the home.
