Summary

Location: Bexhill (Hybrid Working - 1 day a week in the office)

Salary: £26,500

Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30 NO WEEKENDS!





Do not miss out on this exciting opportunity with our Recoveries Team. We are looking to build up support for our Recoveries department. If you have a proven customer service background, we will provide you with extensive training to help you develop and grow within the new environment.



If you have previous customer service experience, good administrative skills and are comfortable using telephone and webchat platforms, this role is for you!





Role Purpose:

You will be taking charge of non-fault claims, with a focus on keeping customers informed throughout their journey and ensuring their no claims discount remains intact. You will be responsible for recovering costs incurred as a result of a non-fault claim back from the responsible parties (Third parties directly and/or Third Party insurance companies).





What will you be doing?



  • Communicating via telephone (inbound and outbound calls), written correspondence and webchat with the policyholder to keep them updated of any developments and bring about resolution of claim
  • Validating the claim, ensuring the policy is operational
  • Realistic inputting and updating of claims reserves on our systems
  • Making effective use of the diary system to maintain proactive approach to claims handling
  • Handling scheme claims within agreed terms and notifying scheme insurer
  • Working towards individual and business KPI's
  • Investigating liability where required and making decisions, admitting or disputing
  • Referring any suspected fraud to the Specialist Unit
  • Processing incoming payments





    What are we looking for?


  • Recovery/claims experience highly beneficial, but not essential, as we'll provide any necessary training
  • A background in telephony based work with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail (data inputting skills)
  • Administrative experience
  • Good overall IT knowledge, especially with Excel, Word and Access desirable
  • Proactive, organised approach to work
  • Minimum GSCE qualification of C & above in Maths and English.
