Summary

1:1 SEN Support Assistant

- Full time, Monday to Friday

- 1:1 SEN support in EYFS

- Primary School in Burnley

- Primary School Experience required

The successful candidate will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in EYFS with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This pupil requires nurturing support to positively manage challenging behaviour and enable them to return to the classroom. The role would be on a full-time basis, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm, provisionally starting in June 2024. The role is to initially run for the rest of the academic year, with the view to be made permanent hereafter.

The primary school is average sized in the area of Burnley. It is easily accessible via a number of public transports. High standards of behaviour are of paramount importance across the school; therefore, the successful candidate must be confident in implementing effective behavioural strategies. Experience within a Primary School is essential, as is a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and SEN experience. As an individual, the appointed candidate must hold a genuine passion for education and be of a positive, enthusiastic, and nurturing nature.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
