Stratton Mills is an employment business that provides Personnel around the UK. We have an excellent opportunity for Upholsterers for our clients based in Northhampton. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a permanent basis.

• Salary: £12.48 plus £1300 Qtr Bonus
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Hours: 40 hours per week (06:30 - 15:00 or 07:30 - 16:00)

Duties for the Upholsterer Role:
• Using power and hand tools to build the entire sofa from start to finish.
• Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
• Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns, stencils, and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.
Ideal Upholsterer Candidate:
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work with the ability to produce good quality work
• Fully skilled and experienced in all aspects of upholstery, including deep buttoning and fixed seating
• Ability to use own initiative, work fast and under pressure to meet production demands
• Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads, team player
• Manual handling knowledge and physically fit to lift heavy loads.
