Summary
Exciting things are happening at St John’s Northgate and we’re looking for someone to join us on our journey!
St John’s Northgate church is a beautiful Grade II* listed building with the separate hall considered of architectural interest. Set in the heart of Gloucester City Centre we want to develop the buildings as a centre for Christian mission, working in partnership with other groups who share our values. We need someone who can develop a strategy for the use of the premises, building on the ‘God for All’ principle and helping make the church accessible 7 days a week.
ARE YOU:
• Able to work alongside other groups to develop mission and ministry within the centre of Gloucester?
• Looking for a role that provides opportunities for mission based on heritage and the arts?
• Able to work with ministerial colleagues to develop new and innovative opportunities for furthering the principles of ‘Our Calling’, and the Methodist ‘God for All’ strategy?
DO YOU:
• Have the skills to develop existing, and identify and build new partnerships with other Christian groups using the building?
• Want to help develop the church hall into a centre for mission, open and inclusive to all as a Christian centre?
• Have experience managing or developing public buildings, and an interest in greening initiatives and reducing the carbon footprint?
• Know how to use social media to support and promote the online and social media presence of the church?
