Job type:
Part Time, 2 Days per week. 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday with an hour for lunch (unpaid) plus additional break times allowed (morning and afternoon) subject to hours undertaken.
The Company:
Powerserve UK Limited manufactures and supplies specialist High Voltage products for The Electrical Industry.
At our facility in Harlow, Essex we employ a small team dedicated to the manufacture and assembly of high voltage components and assemblies.
Our small factory working environment is clean, friendly, and professional, with good welfare facilities.
About the role:
Product assembly and general workshop duties can be physically demanding, so this position will suit applicants who are active. The Workshop Assistant may occasionally be asked to conduct other duties (Such as Packing and other general workshop duties), in which case we are willing to provide full training to anyone who demonstrates basic practical ability.
No prior experience, specific to this role, is necessary, but a flexible outlook to work is essential, as is good timekeeping and a good work ethic.
The Applicant:
• must have a valid permit to live and work in the UK.
• Fluent English, oral, written and reading.
• Should have some Mechanical experience (Experience using basic hand tools).
• Basic machining or manufacturing/production experience (desirable)
• Be a driver with own transport due to workplace location.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail.
• Be a Team Player.
