Job Summary:

Through our strategic theme of ‘Empowering Fair and Sustainable Communities’, we aim to reduce inequalities by supporting and enabling individuals and communities by delivering services locally within targeted neighbourhoods.

Under this theme, the successful postholder will oversee our strategic direction, operations and partnership working under our service areas of Community Development/Resilience, Green Doctor Energy Advice and Circular Economy.

Through this role, you will support and develop a number of strategic relationships with partners such as Local authority, Groundwork Federation and Funders to help deliver our 3 year strategic plans. Grassroots engagement is paramount to the success of our programmes to ensure they are meeting the needs of our local communities. This role will continue to support our teams to build relationships and trust with our communities. Our approach is to put community needs and empowerment in the heart of all delivery and feedback to directly shape programmed and project development.
