Summary
The role will lead a team to deliver operational training and coaching support to staff engaged in the vetting process, working to ensure professional knowledge remains up-to-date and in line with vetting decision framework and customer expectations.
- Lead a team in the delivery range of training programmes focused on vetting policy and processes to ensure that new entrants to the organisation have the knowledge required to undertake their roles and existing staff can be cross-skilled and trained as required.
- Lead the design and development of training interventions in response to changes in the policy or process landscape across the vetting product lines.
- Oversee the provision of a programme of CPD activities aimed at upskilling vetting delivery teams on key aspects of risk and/or the vetting process.
- Oversee mentoring programmes for operational delivery training aimed at building capability and skills for individual colleagues to ensure quality standards are being met, including liaising with the Quality Assurance Function on performance measures and standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across UKSV to ensure that training programmes are relevant, share updates to policy and maintain the quality of the training programmes.
