Your new company
Hays Social Care are working with a local values-led charity who provide information to victims, families and survivors of Troubles-related deaths and serious injury to promote reconciliation for all parties.


Your new role
As part of the Case Support team and as a Case Support Lead, your role will be pivotal to individuals and families' experience of the Commission as you will be the primary point of contact throughout their engagement with the Commission. You will help them understand what the Commission can do, support them to make informed decisions and always show respect and understanding as they move through their engagement with the Commission - as well as keeping them informed at every stage. You will build trust and get to know the requesting individuals and families as people, not cases. You will support in developing the request and preparing it for the next stage and will remain involved to help the Information Recover team stay focused on what matters to the requesting individuals and families.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position you will be educated to Degree level with a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in a relevant area of practice. You will have direct experience of leading trauma-informed practice to those in emotional distress. You will understand the risks of safeguarding, be able to follow safeguarding protocols, will have the ability to evaluate information and make reasoned judgements. You will be able to build relationships and trust quickly, be empathetic and have excellent listening skills.
Having previous experience in a legal, regulatory or investigative role as well as consulting with groups or individuals who are experts through lived experience would be an advantage. You will also have willingness to be assessed against the requirements for SC clearance, if not already cleared.
