Summary


An exciting secondment opportunity has risen to join the Operational Resilience team at Central London Community Health NHS Trust. If you are an Emergency Preparedness specialist or have a keen interest in this area, we would love to hear from you.

You will support the team ensuring CLCH meets its obligations under the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) (CCA) and complies with all relevant Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) guidance for the NHS.

The Operational Resilience and Support Services Directorate provide centralised support to the Clinical Operating Divisions for a range of services.

The Division encompasses the following services:
• medical devices
• incident response and management
• CQC compliance
• staff and patient transport
• interpreting services
• personal protective equipment (PPE) and logistics.

The aim of the Directorate is to ensure a high quality and consistent provision of non-clinical services across the trust.

• Ensuring EPRR training and exercising requirements are delivered
• working with civil protection partners and across boarder health partners in the preparation of effective incident response plans
• Support clinical services in the development of business continuity arrangements
• supporting the coordination of incident response
• develop and maintain EPRR planning arrangements as required by the legislation and guidance listed above
• the project management of ad hoc EPRR work streams
• financial management of EPRR contracts ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner communicating, warning and informing the organisation of relevant EPRR alerts
