Are you a qualified Domestic Electrician looking for a role with a leading Housing Association who take great pride in delivering the best possible customer service to their customers? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join the team carrying out maintenance, testing and repairs across their Oxfordshire region.
Your new role
As an electrician for a large housing association, you will be expected to complete tasks such as those below -
- Carrying out testing, inspection and repairs on existing electrical systems within occupied properties
- Undertake both responsive repairs and works within the planned departments in line with IEE wiring regulations and the companies established standard procedures
- Apply your knowledge and skills to record and report on status and condition of electrical services equipment via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will need to hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), your 18th edition wiring regulations and your 2391 Test and Inspection qualification. You must also hold a full UK driving license as you will be driving a company van between jobs. Ideally, you would also have previous experience working within a Social Housing environment.
