Summary
Main Duties/Responsibilities
As an Locum CT Radiographer, you will:
- Performing a diverse range of CT examinations, ensuring optimal patient positioning and image quality.
- Operating and maintaining CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other health-care professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Communicating effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout the scanning process.
- Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation, adhering to departmental and legal requirements.
- Contributing to the efficient work flow of the department, ensuring timely scan turnaround and patient satisfaction.
Essential:
- Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Radiographer
- At least six months recent NHS experience
- Must have Right to work in the UK / No sponsorship required
- At Least two year's experience working in a diagnostic environment, demonstrating competence in a variety of examination protocols
